The Ad Usum table top (30 mm thick) is made of high-density three-ply fine-quality particleboard with a melamine laminate (sandwich construction), the top features an all-round straight ABS lipping. With veneer surfaced table tops, medium density fibreboard is used. The solid wood lipping is milled at a 30 degree angle. The base is made of die-cast aluminium connecting units with metal trunnions and secured wing nuts. The metal trunnions plug into metal sockets in the top, lock into place thanks to the click-spring catch and are locked by tightening the wing nut. T-section legs (diecast aluminium, com bined with two steel tubes, in chrome or satin chrome) and curved legs (chrome or satin chrome steel tubes) are also available.
