Overview

The CitizenM hotel in Amsterdam was the first of about 20 to be opened in Europe. The visitors of Trip-Advisor, the most popular Internet travel portal, voted it the “trendiest hotel in the world 2010”. Like all CitizenM hotels, the cosy hotel lobby is divided into different rooms that are furnished with Vitra products to ensure that the modern traveller feels at home. The rooms feature a new edition of the lounge chair C1, which was created by the Danish designer Verner Panton in 1959, which was made especially for the CitizenM hotel.
