The desire to experiment has produced an extraordinary collection of “signature architecture”: the Vitra campus in Weil am Rhein. The dynamic edifices, which transcend cultural and stylistic boundaries, are metaphors for a world in upheaval. The architecture is in motion, though, as with the world, one is not sure in which direction.
