The waiting areas in Terminal 2 of Germany’s second largest airport were fitted with the seating system Airline, which Vitra developed together with the well-known architect Lord Norman Foster who specialises in airports and public buildings. Within three weeks, 6,700 units were delivered and mounted and installed in the building complex measuring 260,000 metres square. Vitra is capable of accepting and mastering such logistics challenges anywhere in the world.
