Hyundai Capital America

The move from an old building into the top three storeys of a new high-rise was associated with the intention of reflecting the corporate culture of “high-level service” to employees and visitors alike. The 171 workplaces and 42 individual offices, as well as an employee lounge, conference and meeting rooms and smaller lounge areas, required inviting and friendly, but also extremely functional furnishings. As a result, Hyundai decided to give up the earlier work concept with high dividing walls in favour of a net Net ’n’ Nest environment that facilitates communication and cooperation. The Greenguard certificates of the Vitra systems and chairs also made it easier for Gensler Architects to grant the building the LEED Gold certification.
