Key Ring

Hella Jongerius, 2015

For the Key Ring motif, Dutch designer Hella Jongerius took her inspiration from an emblematic image in the history of Vitra: the elephant. It served as a model for a playful decorative object created by Charles and Ray Eames back in the 1940s, which was reissued by Vitra several years ago. Crafted from leather left over from Vitra's production of upholstered furniture, the Key Rings have a soft, pleasant feel.
