Bovist
Bovist is a decorative floor pillow, stool and ottoman all in one. Its appealing shape and casual comfort are provided by the tapered radial seams around the sides and a compact filling of synthetic beads. The fabric cover features a lively pattern in a complex jacquard weave. The motif and colour scheme are inspired by the Vlinder sofa and its multi-layer design. Bovist is therefore not just a striking solo piece or an attractive ottoman for any type of upholstered furniture, but also an ideal companion for Vlinder.
Hella Jongerius
The Dutch designer Hella Jongerius lives and works in Berlin. She founded the Jongeriuslab studio in 1993 and began collaborating with Vitra in 2004. Since then, she has not only contributed a substantial number of designs to the continually expanding Vitra Home Collection, but has also applied her expertise in the realm of colours and materials to the Vitra Colour & Material Library.
