Sori Yanagi, 1954
Sori Yanagi's Elephant Stool is one of the most famous icons of Japanese post-war design. This light, stackable plastic stool provides practical seating for informal gatherings – both indoors and outside.
- Material: dyed-through polypropylene.
- Applications: suitable for outdoor use. Special additives help to prevent colours from fading due to UV radiation. However, if the stool is exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods, the colour may change over time. We recommend limited exposure to sunlight.

This successful synthesis made Sori Yanagi one of the most significant Japanese designers of the post-war era.
