The .03 High office chair serves the growing need and desire to alternate between sitting and standing postures while working. .03 High turns this transition into a dynamic action: instead of raising or lowering the work surface, users either stand at a standing-height desk or sit down on the chair.
Micro-mechanism with rubber ball joint allows multi-directional movement. Height-adjustable.
Backrest and seat: flexible backrest with integrated leaf springs. Polyurethane integral foam seat shell with upholstered effect, self-supporting on a steel frame.
Base: five-star base with chrome-plated footrest, seat mount in die-cast aluminium. With reverse brake castors or glides.

At the same time, it serves the growing need and desire to alternate between sitting and standing postures while working. Paired with a stand-up table, .03 High makes this transition into a spontaneous and dynamic action: instead of raising or lowering the work…
The Swiss designer Fabian Schwaerzler worked as a studio assistant for the Belgian designer Maarten Van Severen. Schwaerzler's development of the tall task chair .03 High with Vitra was based on Van Severen's .03 chair.
