Are the Vitra Campus and the VitraHaus as well as the Vitra Design Museum and the Schaudepot open?

General information
From Monday, 16 August 2021, an official certification of vaccination, testing or recovery is required for a visit in the Vitra Design Museum, the Vitra Schaudepot, the Vitra Design Museum Gallery and the gastronomy. These certifications are not required for shopping at the VitraHaus, the Interior Studio and the shop at the Vitra Schaudepot. Architecture and exhibition tours take place regularly. A proof of vaccination, testing or recovery and mask requirement also apply to those.

Please provide proof of a complete vaccination (at least 14 days old), proof of recovery (at least 28 days and maximum 6 months old), or an officially certified negative antigen rapid test (max. 24 hours old). Alternatively, proof of a negative PCR test (max. 48 hours old) is valid as well.

Face masks are required in all buildings on the Vitra Campus, this also applies to workshops. Registration for contact tracing is required on site.

The VitraHaus Café offers hot dishes daily from 12 noon to 5 pm. A take-away selection of drinks and snacks will continue to be available. The Depot Deli is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30am to 2 pm.
All guests staying indoors at the VitraHaus Café and Depot Deli must provide proof of a full vaccination (at least 14 days old), an officially certified negative test (maximum 24 hours old) or proof of recovery (at least 28 days and maximum 6 months old).
Which hygiene and safety measures are implemented on the Vitra Campus?
Comprehensive safety and hygiene concepts have been implemented in accordance with governmental regulations and in consultation with a medical task force, in order to provide maximum protection for campus visitors and employees, while still offering an optimal experience of design and architecture.

• Face masks are required in all buildings on the Vitra Campus (surgical or FFP2 masks)
• Spit protection has been installed at all receptions, cash registers, and shops on Vitra Campus.
• Information points help to guide guests
• Payment with debit or credit card is preferred (cash payments are still possible).

We ask our visitors and guests to display responsible behavior: Wash your hands thoroughly, keep social distancing (min. 1,5 meter), please stay at home if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, don’t shake hands, use your elbow if you need to sneeze or cough etc.

Are the showrooms and shops of the specialist dealers open?
Many showrooms and shops of specialist dealers are open again. The individual opening hours should be requested from the respective shop on site. Please use Find Vitra to search and to get in contact.
Can I continue to shop online?
Yes, all products available in the online shop can still be ordered online.
Is the customer service available?
The customer service is available for you as usual. Please use our Contact & Service Portal.
Does a contactless delivery service exist?
All our shipping service providers are able to provide contactless delivery. For example, some shipping service providers now use photographic documentation instead of the recipient's signature. If the delivery is made by a forwarding company, you will be called before the delivery and can, for example, arrange to have it delivered to your door.
Will there be delays in delivery?
Our indicated production and delivery times are up to date. However, our transport service providers still have to process an increased transport volume. This may cause occasional delays in delivery.
What about products that need to be assembled?
If the installation of a product to be assembled cannot be carried out by us, we will temporarily not offer this product for sale.
I am in quarantine. Can I request a later delivery date for my online shop order?
Yes. Please indicate this note with a desired delivery date in the comment field during the ordering process or contact us directly by e-mail.
