Urban Family Life & a Homely Hotel Scene
New installation in the VitraHaus
Four new characters have moved into the second floor of the VitraHaus and have created different living and working areas in vibrant colours. Here there are many stories waiting to be discovered by our visitors. Who are the new residents?
Ava is a business psychologist. She has created a bright, informal meeting room with two yellow Polder Sofas by Hella Jongerius and the functional, yet fresh and modern Kast by Maarten Van Severen.
Her husband, Conrad, is a psychologist, too, and works from home. His consultation room leads directly into their generous living room. In the evenings, Eva and Conrad invite their guests to relax on their expansive Place Sofas by Jasper Morrison.
Eva and Conrad's children, Viola and Frederik, also live in this unique home. They love painting and playing hide and seek. The big Wood Table by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby is perfect for both activities, as well as for eating, talking, working and playing – with friends or just the four of them.

Next to the city family's new home there is a wonderful place to get away from it all – the Hotel Belleville. The lobby now leads into a breakfast area that is furnished with tables and chairs from the Belleville Family. You will immediately want to check in at the reception desk and pick up your room key, or curl up on one of the soft Mariposa Sofas that are dotted around the lobby.
Rediscover Level 2 and create your own stories – we look forward to seeing you there!
