Sevil Peach
Sevil Peach was born in Turkey in 1949 and studied Interior Architecture at Brighton University, England. She formed her London based studio SevilPeach Architecture + Design with Gary Turnbull RIBA in 1994 after having worked for several leading architectural practices.
As a team they have wide range of experience including retail, healthcare, exhibitions, residential and commercial projects. Their workplace solutions for the interiors of Vitra’s offices at their Weil am Rhein Campus in Germany has led to a longstanding and on-going consultancy to Vitra on the creation of new office concepts and products, as well as designing numerous furniture fairs, showrooms and offices for them throughout Europe and the USA. Their approach to work environments has resulted in their involvement with projects for clients such as Sony, Mexx, Deloitte, Novartis, Eczacibasi Holdings, Spaces BV, Swiss Re, Kvadrat and Microsoft.
An extensive list of collaborations with architects accompanies their portfolio. It includes Diener + Diener Architekten for Novartis at their new campus in Shanghai and the new Headquarters for Swiss Re in Zurich, Herzog & de Meuron for Tate Modern, London, as well as other collaborations with Kengo Kuma, Alejandro Aravena, Sergison Bates, FCJZ, Chang Ke, Maya Lin, Toshiko Mori and Hootsmans Architectuurbureau.
