Beginning with the story behind this icon of modern furniture design – which has been manufactured by Vitra for over 50 years – the Lounge Chair Atelier opens up various perspectives: from the choice of materials to individual production steps, right through to the longevity and sustainability of a design that remains as contemporary today as ever.

Should you decide to purchase an Eames Lounge Chair, you can order it from your local dealer and later watch its fabrication in the Lounge Chair Atelier. Your personal Lounge Chair will receive a special label confirming it was made in the Atelier, and the chair will then be delivered to your home.
