Jasper Morrison, 1992

The upholstered Bench is ideally suited for entrance lobbies and other places where people are glad to find a temporary seat. True to his philosophy of 'super normal' design, Jasper Morrison created an unobtrusive and functional object that nevertheless avoids anonymity. Bench is upholstered in leather and comes in a variety of colours as well as three different sizes.

Jasper Morrison lives and works in London and Tokyo. His designs are expressions of the ‘super normal’ design philosophy: rather than seeking unusual or extravagant results, he often breathes new life into proven solutions by means of reinterpretation, further development and refinement. He has worked together with Vitra on a regular basis since 1989.
