Dorothée Meilichzon at the VitraHaus

New installation at the VitraHaus, Level 1

French designer Dorothée Meilichzon is creating an installation at the VitraHaus in Weil am Rhein, featuring three different scenes that tell the story of a fictitious inhabitant named Charly: a home office in a studio apartment, a roof terrace and a co-working space.

The three-part concept by Dorothée Meilichzon portrays scenes in the life of Charly, a young man living in the Marais quarter of the French capital, where he has set up a home office in his small apartment.

The scenic installation in the VitraHaus focuses on the topic of modern working: an office in a small interior, a shared workspace, a terrace with a view over the rooftops of the city. The places that foster human creativity are as diverse and individual as their users.
