The seat shell of the DKR Wire Chair (Dining Chair K-Wire Rod Base) by Charles and Ray Eames is made of spot-welded steel – a construction method that was also adopted for the legendary 'Eiffel Tower' base. This inimitable classic is extremely robust and suited for use in restaurants, canteens, cafeterias and informal meeting areas. The version with a powder-coated finish can also be used outdoors.
Upholstery: unupholstered, with seat cushion or with seat and back pad. Seat and back pads can be removed and reattached; available in Hopsak fabric or leather.
