In developing the Occasional Lounge Chair, Jasper Morrison united a minimalist aesthetic with maximum functionality – a combination that typifies his philosophy of 'super normal' design. Cubic on the outside, yet soft and round on the inside, this compact armchair can be attractively paired with a wide variety of sofas – but also cuts a fine figure on its own.
Upholstery: polyurethane foam with cover in fabric, Leather or Leather Premium.
Seat height: 400 mm (315 mm with applied load, measured in accordance with EN 1335-1).

Occasional Lounge Chair
Developed by Jasper Morrison, the Occasional Lounge Chair is a charming, compact armchair: its outward shape has the appearance of a cubic volume with clean lines, straight edges and a polygonal body that tapers downward. The design is subtle enough to utilise several chairs together – in free arrangements or geometric configurations – yet with its distinctive look, the Occasional Lounge Chair also adds a striking accent to any interior as a solo piece.

Jasper Morrison lives and works in London and Tokyo. His designs are expressions of the 'super normal' design philosophy: rather than seeking unusual or extravagant results, he often breathes new life into proven solutions by means of reinterpretation, further development and refinement.
