SKAN
Allschwil, Switzerland
The Swiss company SKAN is a global market leader in cleanroom devices, isolator technology and contamination control. Strong, steady growth made it necessary to move into a new, larger production and office building. An open office environment was chosen to simplify and accelerate the processes of cooperation and improve internal communication. Facilitating interaction and exchange was a central focus in planning the space, which was to optimally reflect and promote SKAN's corporate culture.
The 500 or so office workstations were equipped with furniture from Vitra. Emphasis was placed on a relaxed and inspiring product mix and bold colour accents, without compromising on durability and functionality. Workstation zones alternate with spacious meeting and retreat areas.
