コンスタンチン・グルチッチ

ドーセットのParnham Collegeで木製家具の製作を学んだ後、ロンドンのRoyal College of Artでインダストリアルデザインを習得したコンスタンチン・グルチッチ。 1991年、彼はミュンヘンに拠点を置くKonstantin Grcic Design を設立しました。ヴィトラデザインミュージアムでは、2014年にグルチッチと彼の作品にフォーカスした展覧会が行われ、現在も世界中の会場を巡回しています。

バイオグラフィー

コンスタンチン・グルチッチはドーセットにあるJohn Makepeace School で家具職人としての修行を積んだ後、ロンドンのRoyal College of Artに入学しました。 1991年、自身の事務所Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID) をミュンヘンに設立し、現在に至るまで、プロダクト、家具、照明など多岐にわたるデザインと開発を手掛けています。.

コンスタンチン･グルチッチによるプロダクトの多くは、国際的なデザインの賞を受賞しており、彼の作品はニューヨークのMoMAやパリのポンピドゥセンターなどの美術館に所蔵されています。

また、彼は多くの展覧会の空間構成を手掛けています。 2009年、ロンドンのサーペンタインギャラリーの展示”DESIGN REAL”、2010年 Saint-Etienne Design Biennaleの展示”COMFORT”、同年ローマのIstituto Svizzero では”black2”、そして、2012年には、第１３回ヴェネチアビエンナーレのGerman Pavilionの展示デザインを担当しました。
