With its step-like platforms, Stool-Tool unites chair and table in a single object. It permits numerous sitting positions and directional orientations, and the desk-like backrest can serve as a small worktop or storage surface. These versatile options make Stool-Tool a multifunctional office furnishing that adds value to any workspace.
Stool-Tool is suited for a wide range of environments, from public areas to small mid-floor office zones, from workshop and meeting spaces to otherwise unused corners and niches.

Material description
- Stool: polypropylene, 5.5 kg, up to 10 units can be stacked on the floor, incl. stacking protectors.
- Glides: universal glides.
- Applications: all colours are suited for outdoor use.
- Note: special additives retard the fading of colours due to UV radiation. However, if Stool-Tool is exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods, the colour may change over time. For this reason, limited exposure to sunlight is advisable.

The Stool-Tool resembles a monolithic sculpture and invites users to spontaneously try out its many options. Intuitive use reveals numerous seating positions and possible functions as a small work or storage surface. Lightweight and stackable, the Stool-Tool also has a cutout handle that makes it easy to pick up and store away. The Stool-Tool is thus suited for a wide range of office applications, from presentation venues and mid-floor zones, workshop and meeting areas to otherwise unused corners and niches.

Konstantin Grcic was trained as a cabinetmaker at Parnham College in Dorset before studying industrial design at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1991 he set up his own practice, Konstantin Grcic Design. The Vitra Design Museum devoted a monographic exhibition to Grcic and his work in 2014.
