Impact Acoustic
Lucerne, Switzerland
Impact Acoustic enhances the acoustics in interior spaces with fully circular and sustainable solutions. For example, with ARCHISONIC® Felt: among other applications, this felt-like material manufactured from recycled PET bottles is used as an acoustic absorber in Vitra's Comma office system – one of the many reasons that made Comma such an obvious choice for the company's new office environment.
The founders of Impact Acoustic wanted the office to be a dynamic home base for young talent in order to foster collaboration and a spirit of innovation. As the company grows from year to year, the office needs to be flexible enough to accommodate the increasing number of employees. It also functions as a showroom to present the company's full range of acoustic solutions. With this in mind, every square metre of the limited space had to be used intelligently.
The workplace solution designed with Comma and other Vitra products has achieved just that. Impact Acoustic's new office has become a home able to keep pace and evolve with the rapidly growing company.
