New Products and Updates

Orgatec 2018

At this year's Orgatec – the office furniture fair in Cologne – Vitra is presenting three concepts for workspaces under the title 'WORK 2018', along with new and revised products by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, Konstantin Grcic, Stephan Hürlemann, Antonio Citterio, Alberto Meda, Charles and Ray Eames, Maarten Van Severen and Arik Levy. Here is an overview.

Soft Work
Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, 2018

The seating system Soft Work rethinks office working practices: it forms the new heart of the office, developed according to user requirements when working in public spaces. Soft Work offers a versatile platform for both individuals and teams. Besides ergonomic seating options, users also find practical table surfaces, power outlets and charging stations. Mobile tables and chairs can be pulled up as needed and put away again, and the addition of panels creates spaces for quiet, concentrated work. Thanks to its modular concept, Soft Work can be easily assembled into diverse arrangements, enabling architects to structure the internal spaces of a building, create specific focal points, or define flexible public areas. Available from June 2019.
