Panton Cubes

Panton Cubes constitute a modular system that allows the creation of sculptural animals or abstract objects. It consists of cubic frame elements that are connected with clips and fitted with panels.
Designed in 1974, the system was utilised by Verner Panton to form a wide variety of figures. The re-edition of the Panton Cubes by Vitra, developed in collaboration with Verner Panton Design AG, includes kits for a Duck, Flamingo, Giraffe and Cat. Each kit contains the elements needed to create the respective animal figure – yet as there is no limit to the imagination, countless other ideas can also be brought to life.
The kits are each available in a duo-tone colour combination or with a chrome finish.

Assembly instruction
The modular system consists of square frames that are assembled to form cubes, which are then linked with clips and fitted with coloured or chrome panels to create patterns and volumes.

After moving to Switzerland in the early 1960s, the Danish-born architect and designer became known for his bold and inventive concepts for interiors, furnishings, lighting and textiles.
