Doshi Retreat by night
An evening experience on the Vitra Campus

Discover the latest building on the Vitra Campus after dark – perhaps even in the light of the full moon. Two short 30-minute tours (DE) will be offered at 6.30pm and 7.30pm on the following days: Wednesday, 5 November and Friday, 5 December 2025. The VitraHaus with its shop and café, as well as the Vitra Design Museum, will be open until 8pm on those days.
The Doshi Retreat is a refuge designed by Pritzker Prize winner Balkrishna Doshi in close collaboration with his granddaughter Khushnu Panthaki Hoof and her husband Sönke Hoof. Inspired by Indian spirituality, the Doshi Retreat is a journey through spaces and sounds to a place of contemplation. The winding walls guide visitors along the paths – full of unexpected changes of direction, shifts in perspective and captivating discoveries.
Tickets for the short tours are available exclusively online and the number of places is limited. The tours take place in all weather conditions. Meeting point is the Vitra Design Museum.
