Hotel Stadt Lörrach

With its 215 rooms, the Hotel Stadt Lörrach is one of the largest hotels on the German side of the tri-nation border triangle between Switzerland, Germany and France. The operating company GC Hospitality GmbH wanted to modernise certain areas and introduce more flexible interiors with a home-like feel. As Vitra products are already used in all GC Hospitality establishments and the partnership has proved successful, Vitra was once again chosen for this project.

The Vitra Consulting & Planning Studio worked closely with the client through a multi-stage consultation process to develop the right furnishing solutions for the hotel’s various requirements. The aim was not merely to design a new look, but to create spaces in which guests would enjoy spending time and which could be modified to suit different occasions.

A central feature of Bar 1760 is the modular Anagram Club sofa, which can be easily adapted to changing usage scenarios. Together with Mikado bar stools and other comfortable seating options, it provides a warm and inviting interior where guests can enjoy anything from a quick stop at the bar to a relaxed get-together.
