The tax advisory office offers companies traditional tax advice, as well as a range of modern and digital services, and also supports other tax consultancies with digitalisation and organisational issues. Due to the company's growth, the question arose of whether to extend the existing office building or move into the former 'Penny-Markt' premises. It was with this dilemma that the client approached Vitra's Consulting & Planning Studio (CPS).
Not only was this question clarified during joint workshops – an empty supermarket was to become a tax consultancy office – but also the issue of how the interior design could reflect flat hierarchies and the company's open, relaxed working culture while also promoting independent thinking and attracting talent. On the construction side, delivering an acoustic quality suitable for office spaces was an unusual challenge.
The interior spaces designed by CPS and furnished with furniture from Vitra and Artek include the reception zone, rooms for seated or standing meetings, open-plan work environments, the management offices, a town hall, the kitchen and lounge areas.
