A fragrance like a stroll through the garden
The essence of laurel: Soeder and VitraHaus jointly launch the natural soap EVER GREEN. Its scent is inspired by the colourful variety of vegetation on the Vitra Campus.
A tribute to the gardens on the Vitra Campus: the Zurich-based company Soeder and VitraHaus – the flagship store of the Swiss furniture company Vitra – are jointly launching the new natural soap EVER GREEN. Hanna Olzon Åkerström and Johan Olzon Åkerström, the founders of Soeder, and Till Weber, Creative Director Interiors & Scenography at Vitra, worked in close collaboration to create the scent of the liquid soap. The process started with several visits to the gardens around the VitraHaus on the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein. The three creators tried to capture the diverse scents and smells of the different plants.

Back in the laboratory in Zurich, the Soeder team transformed the impressions into a subtle natural fragrance. Whether used as a hand wash or in the shower, EVER GREEN natural soap reveals fresh notes of mint and citrus, grounded with the warmth of patchouli. The composition is balanced with the subtle but complex spice-infused, herbaceous scent of laurel. A branch of the evergreen laurel plant is also the signet of Soeder’s cooperation with VitraHaus, adorning the EVER GREEN bottles as an abstract motif.

Till Weber
Like all Soeder natural soaps, EVER GREEN is made in the Soeder factory in Zurich from organic plant-based oils using the traditional method of saponification. EVER GREEN is available in the restrooms of the VitraHaus and in Vitra showrooms. The soap can be purchased in the VitraHaus Shop. EVER GREEN is also sold at Soeder locations as well as its online store.
