The Bleiche Resort & Spa in Burg im Spreewald is a family-owned hotel in the premium segment, acquired by the Clausing family in the early 1990s. Today it offers around 90 rooms, an extensive spa and thermal baths complex, as well as multiple dining areas.

Over the past 35 years, the property has undergone continuous development. In the recent redesign of the "Grünes Gewölbe" (Green Vault) restaurant – where breakfast is also served – the aim was to improve the functionality of the existing space and enhance guest comfort. It was essential that the new furniture aligned with the hotel's elevated design standards while meeting rigorous demands for ergonomics and long-term durability in daily restaurant operations.

When it came to seating, the exceptional product quality and superior comfort made Vitra chairs the obvious choice. Mikado and the Organic Chair were ultimately selected, delivering outstanding comfort for both short and extended periods of sitting. While Mikado's understated aesthetic blends harmoniously with the surrounding architecture, the Organic Chair by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen actively defines the space with its iconic form.
