Tip Ton Poster
For the Tip Ton poster, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby have used layered colours to convey the movement of the Tip Ton chair. It was important to them that the image show the chair's two seating positions, as these are the very essence of the design. The illustration is a formal interpretation of early sketches used by the designers when developing the chair. 'We have had the pleasure of seeing Tip Ton chairs all around the world for a decade and for us it signifies the beginning of a long standing and happy collaboration with Vitra.' Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby The Tip Ton poster is available either in a screen-printed edition on matt paper limited to 50 numbered copies, signed by Barber and Osgerby, or as a standard poster in a high-quality offset print on poster paper.
