Dojo
London, England

Dojo is a payment technology provider creating the tools and technology that empower businesses across the UK to thrive. The digital payment service provider needed a work environment that can be adapted to changing requirements and puts the focus on collaboration, while being able to accommodate future company growth. Workplace specialists/ architects BDG and designers Tollgard Design Group therefore conceived spaces that not only facilitate easy interactions but also encourage interdisciplinary work methods. For example, breakout areas for creative brainstorming are arranged around the large worktables.
The expert planning extended to the choice of furnishings, which is why furniture from Vitra was selected for the reception zone, cafeteria, private offices, conference rooms and open office landscape. Particular focus was placed on creating a relaxed, appealing atmosphere that reflects Dojo's start-up culture while still projecting a sense of seriousness and professionalism. This is achieved by timeless classics such as the Soft Pad Chair by Charles and Ray Eames or various designs by Jean Prouvé, while the mobile Dancing Walls support the agile facet of the company’s day-to-day work.
