JuveCampus City
Zurich, Switzerland

Juventus is one of the larger educational institutions in Zurich, providing both upper secondary and adult education programmes. At the new JuveCampus City location, the goal was to create a learning and working environment that could support a wide range of teaching requirements without any structural alterations to the building. The brief therefore called for flexible furniture suitable for lecture-format instruction, participatory learning formats and informal discussions, enabling spaces to be utilised and defined in a variety of manners.

Vitra's product portfolio offered a range of solutions to meet these needs: the modular Reset platform system was used to create flexible arenas, work islands and retreat zones for group work, discussions and presentations. These tiered floor structures can be assembled, reconfigured and dismantled without the need for any permanent installations. Dancing Walls serve as mobile partition walls that divide and structure interiors, while simultaneously functioning as work and presentation surfaces. Many other products from Vitra and Artek were also incorporated in the classrooms, offices and hospitality areas.
