With ACX, the synchronised seat mechanism, lumbar support and neck support are all self-regulating, so the user benefits from immediate comfort and optimum support throughout the full range of movement with no need for multiple adjustments. This makes the Vitra task chair especially suitable for environments where dynamic collaboration has replaced long periods of sitting in the same chair.
Reduce – Saves time, space and money as well as CO2
ACX instantly adapts to the user, providing perfect ergonomic comfort. Its design is reduced to the essentials with just a limited number of components, which simplifies service and maintenance.
Recycle – Up to 100% recyclable and containing as much as 60% recycled materials
The task chair's components consist of up to 60% recycled materials depending on the model and can be easily separated and recycled again at the end of the product's life. The knitted covers are made from 100% recycled polyester. Depending on the chosen model, ACX is therefore up to 100% recyclable.

An office chair with a casual and inviting appearance: thanks to its clean lines and choice of knitted fabrics in an extensive selection of colours, ACX functions as a design element in the workplace – instead of a necessary addition tolerated for the purpose of ergonomics. The fabric colours can be combined with a light or dark chair frame, allowing for a wide variety of harmonious configurations. The seat cover can be selected in either a complementary knitted fabric or in the textile Plano.

Antonio Citterio
The architect and designer Antonio Citterio, who lives and works in Milan, has collaborated with Vitra since 1988. Together they have produced a series of office chairs and various office systems, as well as products for the Vitra Home Collection. The Citterio Collection is constantly being expanded.
