During this year’s London Design Festival, Vitra will create a dedicated Pop-Up Office and Lounge in London’s vibrant Shoreditch area, open to the public from 19 to 23 September. The space will offer an inviting coworking community environment. It encourages visitors to be productive, creative and relaxed and to discuss and exchange ideas about the new meaning of work, and how the workspace of today is evolving into the future. The dedicated office area will be populated by the Hack table system designed by Konstantin Grcic, offering the options of standing, sitting and lounging for work, meetings and relaxation. The lower ground Lounge area will offer a cosy, home like setting based around the new Soft Modular Sofa by Jasper Morrison, with accompanying classic pieces completing the collage. On site, two playfully styled phone booths, a small library Wi-Fi and refreshments will be available. The Vitra Pop-Up Office & Lounge is open to all visitors, with Hack table systems available on a first come first served basis.
In the flagship Clerkenwell showroom, Vitra will display collections for both the contract and home market. Presenting Kado in the UK for the first time as a workplace solution, this structural system offers numerous possibilities in the form of wall systems, tables, cubes, and ceiling fixed element which can be tailored to the user needs. For the home, Vitra will display the new Autumn setting collage within the showroom with colour, textures, products and lighting to mark the new season.
