ArtNight on the Vitra Campus
1 April, 1 July, 28 August, 18 September, 6 November

Join us for the first 'ArtNights' on the Vitra Campus: enjoy a creative evening with friends, family or colleagues at the Depot Deli from 7 to 9.30pm!
You can choose between the motifs 'Blossom Rush', 'Abstract Structure' or 'Banksy: Street Art Collection', where you'll explore different techniques under the guidance of an expert instructor. The ticket price includes a welcome glass of sparkling wine, crostini and complimentary mineral water throughout the event.
The following materials will be provided: canvas, easel, brushes and paints as well as an apron. If you have any questions, you can email [email protected] or call us on 07621-7023510. We look forward to inspirational evenings of creativity with you.
Tuesday, 1 April: Blossom Rush
The 'Blossom Rush' motif is both modern and abstract: you'll work with the full range of acrylic paints and use the wet-on-wet technique to create a vibrant masterpiece in your favourite colours. The perfect antidote to the winter blues.
Tuesday, 1 July: Abstract Structure
Learn how to play with colours and textures. Use the impasto technique to define structural elements and create abstract compositions. Choose your own signature palette of colours and use special effect paints, palette knives and tissue paper to craft a unique textured painting.
Thursday, 18 September 2025. Subject: Golden lake
Create an abstract lake landscape and experiment with spatula-based techniques. The subject facilitates the perfect balance between soft colour shifts and bold spatula-applied highlights. Hints of reflections and trees give this artwork that certain something.
Thursday, 28 August, Subject: Dandelions (ArtNight Kids)
Paint a summer meadow of flowers speckled with a variety of colours. The sky and meadow are produced using a thin layer of paint applied with a brush while the dandelions are created using dabs of strong colours. What colours will you choose for your dandelions?
Thursday, 6 November: Banksy Street Art Collection
Banksy is the ultimate modern street artist with works adorning walls and buildings all over the world. During this ArtNight, you'll select one of four iconic motifs – 'Girl with Balloon', 'Washing Zebra Stripes', 'Umbrella Man' and 'Flower Thrower' – and create your own street art-inspired canvas. Using stencils, you'll outline the chosen design before applying acrylic paint with a range of different techniques. Step by step, you'll bring your personal Banksy-style piece to life – street art for your own home.
