Uten.Silo RE
Uten.Silo RE is a storage system for use on the wall. Designed with containers of different shapes and sizes, metal hooks and clips, it brings order to offices, kitchens, workshops, bathrooms and children’s rooms. Uten.Silo RE is available in the original size from 1969 – Uten.Silo I – as well as in the smaller version issued in 1970 – Uten.Silo II. Uten.Silo RE comes in a choice of colours and is manufactured entirely from robust recycled post-industrial materials.
Dorothee Becker
Dorothee Becker (1938-2023) studierte Sprachen an den Universitäten Frankfurt und München, bevor sie über Aufenthalte in London und Paris 1960 nach Kalifornien übersiedelte. Mit ihrem Mann Ingo Maurer kehrte sie nach Deutschland zurück und betrieb bis 1989 erfolgreich das Geschäft Uten.Silo für gut gestaltete und praktische Gegenstände des Alltags.
