New on the Vitra Campus: Creative Nights. Join us for fun and inspiring evenings with friends, family and colleagues, exploring a variety of themes, motifs and artistic techniques
The activities take place from 5 to 7.30pm at the Depot Deli. You can choose from different motifs, and will learn the relevant technique step-by-step as you make your own artwork.

Motif: Structure, Paste, Garden

Interpret the Oudolf Garten in an abstract manner. You will create your own artwork on a 30 × 40 cm canvas under professional guidance in a stylish setting.
Working with acrylic paints, you'll use three-dimensional texture paste to form expressive floral surfaces and imitation gold leaf to add delicate highlights. No prior experience is required – just an openness to creativity and personal expression.

Experience the world of abstract contemporary painting. Under professional supervision, you'll bring your artistic vision to life – guided by creative intuition and your own personal style.
After choosing your canvas size (40 × 40 cm or 30 × 40 cm), you'll form captivating surfaces full of depth and movement using texture paste, paints, palette knives and tools. Gold and metallic tones add modern, elegant accents.
Motif: Banksy

Art meets irony. Banksy stands for thought-provoking ideas, political messages and subtle social critique. What's your motif? Flower Thrower? Balloon Girl? Zebra? Maid? The choice is yours.
You will work with layering and stencils to transfer the template pattern with its detailed cutouts onto the canvas. Acrylic paint is applied using a sponge.
