L'impresa internazionale di logistica Fiege si è trasferita nell'X-Dock, un nuovo, moderno edificio adibito a uffici nel porto di Münster. Il complesso di sei piani, che ospita diverse unità aziendali precedentemente distribuite in varie sedi all'interno e nei dintorni della città, offre ai dipendenti di Fiege e ai locatari esterni oltre 10.000 m² di spazi luminosi, con una vista mozzafiato sulla città e sul quartiere del porto.

The ground floor greets visitors and employees with a prestigious reception area, as well as a spacious cafeteria that seats over 100 people and a versatile zone for workshops and events of various sizes. The space can be subdivided into smaller areas with acoustic curtains as required.

The open-plan landscape on the upper office levels of X-Dock provides 'homes' for the Fiege teams, allowing them to book workspaces depending on their current projects and tasks. The office areas have a modular design featuring a rail system for the integration of media technology, visualisation areas, storage and greenery. A flexible kit of elements for both focused work and collaboration enables easy adaptation to changing usage scenarios – without the need for structural interventions.

A central marketplace on each floor encourages interaction and exchange – during work hours or while on break. These zones complement the open-plan work areas with communicative meeting points designed to promote creativity and teamwork.

When furnishing the offices as well as the meeting, retreat and communal areas, project requirements called for products that combined high standards of design, material quality, ergonomics and sustainability. Numerous furniture pieces from Vitra proved the obvious choice. With their inviting appearance and high-quality craftsmanship, they create a welcoming environment. And thanks to the wide choice of colours and materials, the products could be configured to fit seamlessly into the overall interior design concept.
