Vitra Campus Summer Night
Vitra starts the local school summer holidays (in Baden-Württemberg) with the “Vitra Campus Summer Night”, held on Campus. Local bands play on a stage in the non-public area. Entry is free of charge and refreshments are available.
Cherry Blossom Festival on the Vitra Campus
The blooming of cherry blossom heralds the start of spring and makes it the most beautiful time of year on the Vitra Campus. The cherry trees around Tadao Ando’s Conference Pavilion are part of the Japanese architect’s building design and highlight the traditional significance of the blossom in Japanese culture. The annual Cherry Blossom festival takes place at the beginning of April on the lawn outside the Conference Pavilion and includes Sake tasting, origami and handicraft workshops, Ikebana demonstrations and sweet treats.
