Hang it all Workshop

7 March, between 10am and 6pm at the VitraHaus

Create your own Charles and Ray Eames 'Hang it all' coat rack at a drop-in workshop on the Vitra Campus. Join us between 10am and 6pm on Level 1 of the VitraHaus on Saturday, 7 March.

Used instead of simple hooks, the brightly coloured wooden balls of the 'Hang it all' coat rack encourage children to literally hang up all their things. However, 'Hang it all' isn't just a cheerful alternative to boring coat hooks in children's rooms, it's great for lots of different locations in the home.

During the workshop at the VitraHaus, you can put together your very own 'Hang it all' coat rack and select the lacquered coloured wooden balls of your choice for your rack, making each coat rack a highly individual design classic. Experts will be on hand to guide you through the workshop.

The price includes: a 'Hang it all' coat rack for you to put together, professional fitting of the selected wooden balls, chocolates and cake pops, a welcome drink and the "Vitra & Eames" book, which describes the relationship between Vitra and the Eameses and presents their designs as well as introducing topics such as authenticity and archive material.

Spaces are limited so we would recommend reserving. We are holding back a limited number of workshop spaces for spontaneous participants.
